The Cedar Park, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 26 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 38 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 48 cents per share.

The space and defense technology company posted revenue of $57.7 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $51.7 million.

Firefly Aerospace expects full-year revenue in the range of $420 million to $450 million.
