I have been working with conscious breathing for the last 10 years. I have a passion for working with children and young adults. Although my initial training and career was as a journalist and in corporate communication, I diversified into people-centred work and am a qualified Neuro Linguistic Programming Coach and Meaning-Centred Counselling working with the framework of Logotherapy.
My day is a joyful variety of being in front of the laptop running Breathwork Africa, meetings, one-on-one sessions, doing breathwork in corporate settings and running group sessions. Between everything I try to get a walk and a cycle in and enjoy meeting up with friends for connection.
I met Dr Ela Manga in 2014 as I was transitioning out of the corporate world and battling with fatigue. She introduced me to breathwork and I felt the deep relaxation that if offered me and I wanted to share that with others.
I really believe in conscious breathing’s mental and physical health benefits having experienced it myself and wanted others to benefit from this gift that we carry with us all the time.
Absolutely – in many ways – from more energy, better health, engaging with life differently, connecting with themselves and others.
You are not a tree. If you don’t like where you are, move.
