The Detour 2024

When Kalacas Car Club throws a show, you already know it’s going to hit different. And on November 23rd, 2024, they proved it again with The Detour—their end-of-year blowout that took over Corona, California, and brought the entire SoCal car scene out in full force.

This wasn’t your average parking lot meet-up. It was a full-on vibe. From early morning roll-ins to the sun setting behind rows of candy-painted rides, The Detour 2024 was one of those shows that felt more like a family reunion—with way more chrome and hydraulics.

Laid-Back Vibes, Wild Builds

Pulling up, you could already hear the music bumping and smell tacos in the air. As you walked through the show, it was nothing but clean. Perfect stance, lowriders shimmering like mirrors, custom paint that looked like it took 100 hours—and probably did.

Everywhere you looked, someone was wiping down their ride or posted up with their club. Kalacas showed up deep, but they weren’t the only ones. Clubs from all over rolled through, repping hard and showing mad respect. No egos, just love for the culture.

Not Just a Show—It Was a Party

It wouldn’t be a true Kalacas event without a little extra. DJ spinning, people dancing, and the hydraulic demos were straight fire. You’d be chillin’ one minute, then next thing you know, a car’s hopping three feet off the ground and the whole crowd is going nuts.

The vendors held it down too—everything from car care products to fresh gear, plus food trucks that stayed busy all day. No one left hungry, that’s for sure.

The Detour 2024 felt like the last cruise before winter. Late November, perfect SoCal weather, and a laid-back crowd made it the perfect way to wrap up 2024. Kalacas didn’t just host a show—they brought the community together and reminded everyone why this lifestyle is so addictive.
