The Truist Championship makes its official return to Quail Hollow on Thursday morning, where World No. 2 Rory McIlroy will begin his attempt at capturing PGA Tour win No. 31. McIlroy will also be prepping his game for a run at his second straight major win next week.
McIlroy will face off against a small but strong field beginning Thursday at the Truist, with red-hot Cameron Young and similarly steamy Matt Fitzpatrick showing no fear in recent weeks.
Other popular Tour pros such as Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffele are also in the field this week.
McIlroy will tee off for the opening round on Thursday at 11:33 a.m. ET alongside Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose.
