BARBARA LIAO
NEWTON NORTH
Liao holds the Newton North school record in the 100 breaststroke at 1:05.34, along with the 200 and 400 free relays. She claimed first place at the MIAA Div. 1 Swimming and Diving State Championships in the 100 breaststroke and set a state record. As a member of the 200-medley relay team, she won the race and helped the Tigers win the team state championship. Liao also was the runner-up in the 50 freestyle.
VIVIAN MOULSON
ANDOVER
The Golden Warriors’ ace had a standout fall season, taking state championships in the 100 fly and 200 IM. She also holds the New England records for those two events. She also has the 13-14 New England record in the 200 fly and a state record in the 200 IM for the 17-18 bracket. She will continue her swimming career at the University of Wisconsin.
GEORGIA ABRAMS
HAVERHILL
Abrams claimed the state championship in the 50 free and added a second place in the 100 fly. Her efforts helped the Hillies earn a third-place team finish in the Div. 1 state championships. This was her first season at the high school level and she swims club with Commonwealth Swimming.
EVIE GAO
FRAMINGHAM
Gao rolled to a state title in the 100 backstroke and added a second place finish in the 200 IM. Her efforts helped Framingham claim a fourth-place finish in the Div. 1 State Championships. Outside of school, she has competed for Charles River Aquatics and Team New England.
EMI HUKKANEN
ANDOVER
A captain-elect for next season, Hukkanen claimed the 500 free at the state finals along with a second-place finish in the 200 free. She also won the 100 fly and 200 IM at the D1 North Sectionals. Hukkanen was named an all-MVC first team selection for the third straight year.
ALEXANDRA STORY
HAVERHILL
Story won the 100 free at the Div. 1 State Championships and was a key contributor to the Hillies’ third-place finish. In the Div. 2 North Sectionals, she contributed to a 200-medley relay team that set a new program record and claimed first place overall.
ELIZABETH GUEVARA
BELMONT
Guevara had a state finals to remember as she won the 200 free and then led the winning 200 and 400 free relay teams. She holds the school record in the 100 and 200 free along with the 200 and 400 free relays. Her efforts helped Belmont claim a third-place finish at the Div. 2 State Championships.
KAREN TAO
BELMONT
Tao was a key contributor to the Maurauders’ 200 and 400 free relay teams that won first place and helped guide Belmont to a third-place finish at the Div. 2 State Championships. Individually, she had multiple top-10 finishes at the state championships and participates for Belmont Aquatics outside of school.
REINA YANO
BELMONT
Yano is in her second year at Belmont after spending her childhood bouncing around the eastern United States and Japan. She was a contributor to the Belmont 200 and 400 relay teams that won first at the Div. 2 State Championships. She also participates for Belmont Aquatics.
LILLY GLAVIN
BELMONT
Glavin won states in the 200 and 400 free relays and was the sectional champion in the 200 free relay. Her 200 free relay team set a school record in the Div. 2 state championships. She finished her career as a two-time Middlesex League all-star.
ALLISON BOYNTON
MILTON
Boynton had a stellar postseason for the Warriors as she won the 200 IM and was second in the 100 backstroke at the D2 state finals. She also won the 200 IM and was second in the 100 back at the South Sectionals. She holds the school record in the 100 back (58.45) and 200 free (1:00.38), and is a captain-elect for next season.
NORA WILLIAMSON
CHELMSFORD
A three-time team MVP and first team all-MVC first team selection, Williamson won the Div. 2 title in the 50 free and added a third place in the 100 free. Outside of the pool, Williamson is a high-honor roll student.
GEORGIA CRISAFULLI
NATICK
Crisafulli won the Bay State Conference, Div. 2 South sectional and the individual Div. 2 state title in the 100 fly. She also finished fifth in the 500 free race. Outside of school, she swims for the Longfellow Blue Waves.
