Cambridge Police are trying to identify suspects in an on-going firearms investigation.
Police say three individuals were walking around armed in the area of Newtown Court and Washington Elms last Monday morning between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.
The department shared photos of the individuals in masks and hoodies, wearing blue latex gloves and holding what appear to be guns. According to the photos, the suspects were wearing black outfits.
The individuals have not yet been identified.
Cambridge Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 617-349-3300. Anonymous tips can be submitted through a special crime tip line.
BPD responded to 272 incidents in the 24-hour period ending at 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the department’s incident log. Those included arrests for three robberies, three aggravated assaults, four larcenies from a vehicle, 20 miscellaneous larcenies, and one auto theft.
All of the below-named defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

— Ryan McNee, 2 River St., Wilmington. Distribution of a Class B drug.
— Zancharys Cruz Arroyo, 8 Rosseter St., Dorchester. Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
— Kimberlee Freemansmythwick, 22 Linwood St., Hyde Park. Operating a motor vehicle without a license.
— Mohammed Chowdhury. 74 Glenville Ave., Boston. Assault and battery.
— Alvertis Fernandez. 38 Claybourne St., Dorchester. Trespassing.
— Jaishaun Howard. 23 Dunlap St., Dorchester. Cocaine possession with intent to distribute.
— Damion Johnson. 37 Dacia St., Boston. Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
— Joseph Oliveira, 43 W. 3rd St., New York, NY. Felony breaking and entering vehicle during nighttime.
