Fantasy Premier League is open for 2025/26 and you are invited to join your fellow Aston Villa supporters in the AVF league.

FPL has become a staple of football culture and gives fans the chance to test their mettle against millions of other aspiring fantasy gaffers every single season.

It’s free to enter and it’s just for fun and bragging rights. Here’s everything you need to know.

How to join the AVF leagues

Pitting your wits against fellow Aston Villa supporters couldn’t be easier. Beating them? Different story.

1. Sign up for the official Fantasy Premier League game at on the Premier League website
2. Pick and submit your starting squad of 15 players for £100m – you can have as many as three players from Aston Villa (or any other single club) and you can make unlimited changes prior to the first deadline so no need to wait for perfection before joining
3. Name your team – keep it above the waist!
4. Click the ‘Leagues & Cups’ tab
5. Follow the links to join new leagues and enter the codes for the AVF competitions

AVF league codes

We’re running two leagues this season: a classic league and a head-to-head league. Your team can be entered into both and all you need to do is enter the following codes:

Classic: a0pyzk
H2H: lyflpz

Entries after the deadline for the first gameweek of the season won’t be accepted but apart from that it’s all systems go!
