Boston Caribbean Carnival kicks off [Photos]

The annual Boston Caribbean Carnival kicked off Saturday at Carson Beach in South Boston.

“Beautiful weather to be at Carson Beach, South Boston,” the Caribbean American Carnival Association of Boston posted on Facebook to get out the word Saturday. “Happening NOW till 5pm. Family friendly event. Music, food, and vibes. Bring your chair/blanket and let’s vibe out!!!!”

The organization touted several DJs lined up to kickstart the event weekend. Those were Groove Master, DJ Fuse, DJ Easy Flicks, DJ Nasty, and Selectress Nelly V.
