After a good result against Tottenham, Arsenal locked horns with Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and threw away a handsome two goal lead to finish with a stalemate.

David Raya – Was blameless for the goals conceded. (6)
Thomas Partey – Another disastrous performance at right back, and could have done better to track Ollie Watkins. (4)
Jurrien Timber – Did okay in William Saliba’s stead, but the Arsenal full back was missed in his favored position. (7)
Gabriel – Put up a great performance at the back. (7)
Myles Lewis-Skelly – Put up another awesome performance in his fledgling career. (8)
Declan Rice – Never stopped running and provided support in the final third. (7)
Mikel Merino – Scored a goal that was ruled out by VAR and also hit the woodwork. (6)
Martin Odegaard – A rather tame performance from the leader. (6)
Gabriel Martinelli – Scored a good goal to set the tone for the game. (7)
Leandro Trossard – Two assists for the Belgian winger in a great performance. (8)
Kai Havertz – Did well to score a goal after quite a disastrous week for him. (7)
Raheem Sterling – Put up another weak performance from the bench. (6)
